I really like this site for plant identification in Arizona.

It has a lot of common landscape plants for the desert along with many wildflowers and cactus.
Not every plant has a picture but there is a lot of information like watering needs, propagation and planting zones. It's one of the site that was most useful to me when I was picking plants for my yard.
My Baby Poplar Tree
I grew this from just a stick. My one success. It likes a lot of water though.
My Wildlife
Good thing I can't kill Mr. Froggy. That is Lantana all around him. The grasshoppers strip the leaves off in the fall.
Violas, Pansies, and Vinca
A smart gardener would have hid the drip hose up through the bottom of the pot. Not me. I'm a rebel.
My Chitalpa Blossoms
Cross between Desert Willow and Catalpa....Too bad I killed it.
Prickly Snow
See it does snow in Arizona once in a while.
